Pupillage & Tenancy
Pupillage
Chambers' does not operate within the OLPAS scheme and recruits pupils as and when the need arises. We advertise in Counsel Magazine as well as on the OLPAS website.
At present pupillage at Octagon Chambers would be classed as a criminal pupillage. Chambers pupillage policy applies in conjuction with our equal opportunity policy.
Rebecca Bradberry is responsible for the recruitment of pupils and any queries may be directed to her.
Mini-pupillages
Mini-pupillages can be arranged following application in writing with curriculum vitae to Rebecca Bradberry.
Unless there are exceptional circumstances, due to the confidential nature of the work involved it is our practice to offer mini-pupillages to undergraduates only.
Tenancy
Due to the increasing workloads and the desire to expand our areas of practice, Chambers is always open to applications from suitable practitioners.
Applications from Family Practitioners are particularly welcomed.
Chambers has an Equal Opportunity Policy and deals with all applications in the strictest confidence.
Interested parties should apply in writing to Alan Large or Rebecca Bradberry enclosing a Curriculum Vitae.
Alternatively, Alan Large would be happy to discuss possible opportunities for tenancy informally.
