Practice:
Lawrence is a highly experienced barrister who qualified in London 20 years ago at the Chambers of Michael Hill QC (23 Essex Street), having previously worked in the City for international law firm Clifford Chance & for HM Foreign & Commonwealth Office.

Crime:
His practice encompasses serious cases in the Crown Court including Murder, Manslaughter, Rape, child sex offences, drugs conspiracies (and associated Proceeds Of Crime Applications) and high value fraud.  He often works with leading counsel and in recent years he has been instructed in cases resulting in the successful defence of clients charged with Murder, Attempted Murder, Manslaughter and allegations of sexual abuse by multiple complainants.
His approach attracts instructions in cases where clients are demanding & he has particular experience with expert witnesses. 

Lawrence has undertaken associated Judicial Review proceedings, and frequently appeared before the Court of Appeal & Divisional Court. Additional work includes cases relating to firearms, health and safety, and trading standards.

Courts-Martial:
He has conducted Courts Martial both in the UK and overseas.

Previous Experience:
Lawrence has lectured at the European Fraud Conference in Brussels and has for a number of years acted as a facilitator on accredited courses for expert witnesses in such fields as Firearms, counter-terrorist operations, child abuse investigations, & road traffic accident reconstruction.
