1996 – 1999 - Kings College London, LLB (Hons)

2001 - 2003 - Managed and led a team of personal injury lawyers at Abney Garsden McDonald Solicitors, Cheshire.
2003 - 2006 - Legal adviser in Her Majesty’s Court Service in Merseyside, Greater Manchester and Somerset.
June 2006 - Pupil at Octagon Chambers.
Feb 2007 - Tenant at Octagon Chambers.
Areas of Practice
Crime
Harry is regularly instructed by both prosecution and defence in the Magistrates' and Crown Court. He has prosecuted on behalf of local authorities, National Probation Service, Department of Work and Pensions as well as the Crown Prosecution Service.
Recently Harry was instructed as junior defence Counsel in R v Coates, the first court martial of an alleged rape at sea. Harry has a developing mixed Crown Court practice having prosecuted and defended in cases ranging from burglary, theft and fraud to serious assaults and proceeds of crime proceedings.
Family
Instructions are accepted in all areas of family law. In particular Harry has undertaken work in both private and public law cases as well as in injunction proceedings.
Civil
Personal injury
Harry accepts instructions in all areas of personal injury and has undertaken work on behalf of both Claimants and Defendants. He provides advice on liability and quantum and is currently involved in an ongoing multi-track case.
Property and Land
Property work includes boundary/ownership disputes, restrictive covenants, easements, nuisance and trespass. Harry has also acted on behalf of the Ministry of Defence for possession of property and eviction of squatters.
Contractual disputes
Harry welcomes instructions regarding contractual disputes and has previously been instructed by Peugeot regarding sale of goods claims.
Interests
Harry enjoys playing football, tennis and badminton. He also likes travelling, having visited Tunisia on a Sahara safari, Egypt on an archaeological excursion and most recently Hong Kong.
Harry also has a keen interest in computing and technology.
